Independence Day
August 15 marks India's Independence Day, commemorating the end of British rule in 1947. It symbolizes the struggle and sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters.A flag hoisting ceremony can be organized on campus. The national flag is hoisted, followed by the singing of the national anthem. College authorities and student representatives can address the gathering, highlighting the importance of independence and the contributions of freedom fighters.

October 2 is Gandhi Jayanti, celebrating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. It is a day to remember his principles of non-violence (Ahimsa) and truth (Satyagraha).Invite scholars, historians, and Gandhians to give lectures on Gandhi's life, philosophy, and relevance in today's world. Students can also present papers or projects on Gandhian principles.
