Welcome to School of Math, Mathematics is integral to life, offering tools for problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making. The Department hosts well qualified and experienced faculty members who have an incalculable thrust towards Mathematics. The knowledge of teachers is enhanced through faculty participation in Seminars, Guest lectures and Faculty Development Programmes. In order to ease the transition between School and College as well as to familiarize students with the preliminaries of Mathematics, the Department provides Bridge Courses. Faculty members have extensively contributed to the publications of research articles in their area of expertise.
- ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Mathematics was established as one of the earliest departments at SRC, offering B.Sc. and M.Sc. Mathematics programs since 2002. The department later evolved into a research-focused department, offering M.Phil. The faculty members are highly qualified and engaged in both teaching and research, aiming to produce graduates with strong academic and professional competence. The department fosters emerging research fields and seeks to develop skills leading to innovation, fostering international collaborations to meet national agendas.
